We run a Woodlands Mill HM130 Max bandsaw mill at our yard which will cut logs up to 30" in diameter and up to 3.5 metres long. This can be timber you provide yourself or we can source sawlogs according to your needs. We also offer mobile milling with our Alaskan Chainsaw Mill; up to a metre in diameter, any length. Totally portable; ideal for back gardens or places where access to heavy machinery is a problem. 

We usually have a range of timber for sale at the yard which comes from local and sustainable sources; we specialise in providing unusual varieties and trying to save trees from going to waste. Current stock includes Pear, Walnut, Holly, Spalted Beech, Monkey Puzzle & more. We are also happy to cut timber to order and we are always interested to hear about any available trees that may be suitable for milling!

We have worked on numerous projects creating bespoke pieces for our customers. We work closely with our clients from the initial concept through to the final installation to ensure their 100% satisfaction with the product.

We love creating unique furniture and milling our own timber provides constant inspiration. All pieces are handmade with love and attention to  detail; we aim to enhance the wood's natural beauty and give it a bit of our own "twist" to produce art with a function.

Simple chainsaw carvings don't cost the earth, make a great addition to your garden and are a great way to keep a reminder of a much loved tree that has to felled. At the other end of the scale we could carve a large scale statement piece to give your garden the real "wow factor"!

As designer makers with access to a well equipped workshop we're capable of undertaking a wide range of tasks and we love a creative challenge to sink our teeth into!
